The Central Province Ministry of Education has partnered with the Zam Zam Foundation to prepare 1,050 students to take the O / L exam in 2022.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Zam Zam Foundation and the Central Provincial Department of Education on November 25 in Kandy to sponsor accelerated learning for 1,050 students in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Matale districts as part of the E-LAP initiative.

The Emergency Learning Assistance Program (E-LAP) initiative will have 21 accelerated learning centers across the province, supported by the Zam Zam Foundation, as a pilot project, which will provide specialized training to 50 students per center through experienced teachers selected by the department. The MoU was signed in the conference hall of the Central Provincial Ministry of Education in Kandy by Provincial Director of Education Amarasiri Piyadasa and Foundation President Zam Zam Mufthi.
