The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the ACT, parts of the South Coast, Southern Plateaus and Snowy Mountains forecast districts. The warning was issued late Wednesday afternoon. The wind was gusting to 69 km/h at Goulburn Airport at 5 p.m., up from 35 km/h at 4.30 p.m., according to Bureau data.
