HOUSTON (KIAH) — This Friday, meteorologist Star Harvey says goodbye to Houston, as she embarks on a new adventure as a meteorologist in a different city.

In an Instagram post, she thanked H-Town for welcoming her into their homes but also for trusting her to guide them through the ups and downs of the weather in the Lone Star State.

It was a blessing to be on live TV and to help you through the inclement weather we are experiencing here in Southeast Texas, but also these days of blue skies. It has been an absolute pleasure to experience the overwhelming love and support from the community while doing what I love the most. You all really made me feel like the Beyoncé of the weather!!
