Doha: There is a risk of rain from tomorrow to Tuesday as there will be an increase in cloud cover, the Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD) said on Twitter.

“Cloud amounts are expected to increase from tomorrow evening Sunday May 2, 2021 with chances of rainy weather conditions that will continue until Tuesday May 4, 2021, which can be stormy at times accompanied by wind. strong and high waves, “QMD tweeted.

In its daily report, QMD said coastal weather conditions tonight until 6 a.m. Sunday will be mild, hazy to hazy in places, the Meteorological Department said in its daily weather report.

Offshore, the weather will be foggy to foggy, becoming hazy in places, the report adds. The meteorological department also warned of the poor visibility expected at offshore locations.

The coastal wind will be mainly from the southeast at a speed of 3 to 13 knots, becomes variable at a speed below 3 knots later.

Offshore, the wind will be south-easterly at 3 to 12 knots, gusting to 15 knots.

Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers, 3 kilometers or less in some places later.

The coastal sea condition will be 1 to 2 feet. Offshore, it will measure 1 to 3 feet and sometimes rise to 4 feet.
