Rangareddy to have electronic weighers in ration stores


Hyderabad: Telangana Civil Supplies Department plans to distribute Bluetooth-enabled electronic weighers with ePoS sets for accurate grain weighing to ration stores in Rangareddy district.

On April 25, the department planned to award the balance of Ranga Reddy, Circle III to Saroornagar Mandal.

According to a report by Hans Indiaa total of 218 electronic scales were prepared for distribution to Rajendranagar, Serilingampally and LB Nagar.

A ration card serves as proof of nationality. This is a crucial document that not only serves as identification but also reflects a person’s economic status, and it is necessary to provide ration cards in order to qualify for other government programs such as Aasara scholarships and pensions. He said it would be better if the state government took steps to issue permanent food security cards to beneficiaries.
